Q. Could you share the success story of DhaSh PV with our readers and explain how your company is innovating for the future?

DhaSh PV Technologies specializes in the manufacturing of photovoltaic junction boxes and connectors, critical components for solar modules. The company manufactures all the components needed for its product range in-house. The stateof-the-art production facility, with a capacity of 32GW, is well-equipped with the latest technology, globally benchmarked equipment, an in-house lab, top-quality materials, and skilled manpower.

Since the beginning of our journey, the “Quality of the Product” has always spoken in favor of the organization, driving us forward to become the most preferred and reliable choice among clients. Q.How is DhaSh PV distinguishing itself in the competitive renewable energy landscape, and what steps are being taken to build a sustainable future?

 

Since our establishment in 2017, DhaSh has been driven by innovation and development. We continuously upgrade our product range and offer solutions for various applications like Agri PV, Flexible Solar Panels, BIPV, Floating Solar, and recently started providing complete connection solutions on the DC side—from solar panel to inverter. We have developed Y Connectors, Branch Connectors, Inline Fuse Connectors, Panel Mount Connectors, and Wire Harnesses, which give a complete solution for DC connections and eliminate fire and safety risks that arise due to cross-mating. These solutions also increase system performance by keeping contact resistance to a minimum. We have greatly benefited from relying on our core technologies and high-quality manufacturing processes, improving product performance, conversion efficiency, product reliability, production yield rates, and reducing technology-related costs.

 

Q. With DhaSh PV’s ambitious goal of reaching 50 GW production by 2025, could you update us on the current status of this project?

What is your brand’s current manufacturing capacity, and how do you plan to expand it in the upcoming years? With a deep commitment to scaling renewable energy infrastructure, DhaSh PV is in the process of expanding its PV Junction Box production capacity to an impressive 50GW by 2025, up from the existing 32GW per annum. This expansion positions us as a key player in supporting India’s vision of becoming a global solar manufacturing hub. Our large-scale operations enable us to cater to the growing global demand for high-quality solar components while fostering sustainable energy solutions for the future.

 

Q.Can you provide insights into the unique specifications of your brand’s solar cables?

Cables in photovoltaic systems are of great importance since they link the main components of the system. The reliability, efficiency, and lifespan of these systems are greatly affected by the functionality of these cables. DhaSh is gearing up for further backward integration steps by manufacturing e-beam cross-linked XLPO Solar DC cables, which feature low contact resistance,superior conductivity, and enhanced weatherability properties. These cables will not only boost the performance of solar PV systems but also extend their operational life. They are expected to set new industry standards for durability and efficiency.

Q.What commitments has DhaSh PV made towards environmental preservation, and how is your company promoting energy efficiency?

Through our comprehensive research and development (R&D) initiatives, we continuously explore innovative solutions that enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact, contributing to India’s ambitious renewable energy goals.

 

Q.Could you elaborate on the unique specifications of the PV Junction Boxes offered by your brand?

PV Junction Boxes play a particularly critical role in ensuring the service life of solar photovoltaic modules meets their 25-year promise. Despite its small and compact design, a PV Junction Box acts as an enclosure on the solar module where PV strings are electrically connected. It is one of the most crucial components for reliability, and its importance cannot be overlooked. Our flagship product, the “DhaSh Trio” Junction Box, steals the show with its compact and robust design, increased efficiency, and optimized cost, accommodating the latest technology demands. The DhaSh Trio Junction Box comes with an “Integrated Module” diode, providing superior heat dissipation and maintaining a controlled junction temperature (below 200?C) under multiple JB-rated current applications (up to 35A). The premiumgrade plastic material used for the enclosure has thermal endurance of up to 125?C, a flame class of 5VA (under UL-94, V0), and an ingress protection rating of IP68, making the product more robust for harsh conditions and superior to any similar product in the market.

 

Q.As the renewable energy market continues to grow, how is DhaSh PV leveraging technological advancements to stay ahead of industry trends?

Building on the success of its flagship product, DhaSh is set to introduce an enhanced version of the TRIO Junction Box integrated with an advanced version of PV Connectors. These are designed to offer greater resilience in extreme environmental conditions while improving overall efficiency and longevity. The next-generation Trio Junction Box will be designed for a system voltage of 2000V and a rated current of 35A. Meanwhile, the advanced connector version will be rated for 2000V and 45A, optimizing both LCOE and BOS costs.

 

Q.In what ways is DhaSh PV collaborating with other industry leaders or stakeholders to accelerate the adoption of renewable energy solutions in India and beyond?

At the ongoing Re-Invest 2024 Summit in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, major renewable energy developers are gathered and have committed under the “Shapath Pathra” agreements to deploy 480GW of renewable energy over the next five years. India is at the forefront of the global renewable energy revolution, and the solar manufacturing industry is playing a crucial role in driving this growth. We are witnessing vibrant growth in solar adoption and expanding our manufacturing capacity to provide the utmost support in achieving this goal.
