FOUNDER & MANAGING DIRECTOR || DHASH PV TECHNOLOGIES LTD.

MR. MANJUNATH N REDDY

Q.What is your outlook on the Indian solar industry? Please highlight the key trends that are driving the growth of the industry.

India added about 24.5 GW of solar and ~3.4 GW of wind capacity. This represents a more than twofold rise in solar installations and a nearly 1.21 times increase in wind installations compared to 2023. Notably, the total solar capacity added in 2024 is the highest recorded capacity in any previous year. 24.5 GW of Solar PV Installation in 2024 which is more than double rise on solar installations compared to 2023 and the highest installation in any previous year. We are witnessing vibrant growth in solar adoption and are very excited about the growth of the market in India. India is on a mission to be AatmaNirbhar. To contribute to this goal, the Solar PV Industry is working hard to develop and manufacture quality products to substitute imports and at the same time increase scalability to meet the local demand with competitive in cost and unparalleled in quality. Solar module manufacturing capacity is expected to be reach 100GW in couple of months and to support them at the maximum we also expanding our Junction box manufacturing capacity to 40GW to 63GW by September 2025 and this will make us the largest Non-Chinese-owned PV Junction box manufacturing company in the world.

Q. How is DhaSh preparing to adapt to future trends?

Innovation is the cornerstone of DhaSh’s success and growth, driving our journey to becoming India’s Largest Integrated PV Junction Box Manufacturer. At DhaSh, we believe that staying ahead in a competitive market requires not just adapting to change but actively creating it. Innovation is embedded in every aspect of our operations, from designing nextgeneration PV junction boxes and connectors to optimizing manufacturing processes with cuttingedge automation. The continuous evolution being seen in solar cell and module manufacturing technology (Mono Perc, TOPCon, HJT, perovskite, IBC), demands ever higher requirements from components like Junction box as well and happy to inform you that we are the 1st Indian Pv Junction box manufacturer to introduce 35A Junction box along with 2000VDC Junction box and connectors for higher efficiency solar panel. Since the beginning of our journey, it is always the “Quality of the Product” which speaks in the favour of organization & taking us forward to become the most preferred & reliable choice among the clients. Our unwavering focus on quality positions us well to meet heightened safety and reliability demands. As a holistic solutions provider, we are not just adapting, we are pioneering future-ready solutions

Q. What are your plans for the coming year in terms of capacity addition?

The future holds immense opportunities waiting to be explored. At DhaSh, we are committed to not just maintaining our leadership but redefining it. Through backward integration, we are incorporating all remaining components into our production ecosystem, ushering in a new era of manufacturing excellence. This comprehenasive process will be carried out at our state-of-the-art mega plant in Sira, Tumkuru district, setting new benchmarks for efficiency and quality. One of our key milestones includes the development of Made in India diodes, a critical step towards selfreliance in the solar PV industry. We also aim to significantly increase our capacity, targeting the production of 1,000 km of solar cables and 63GW of junction boxes annually. These ambitious goals reflect our dedication to supporting India’s renewable energy mission. In addition to scaling production, DhaSh is focused on exploring new markets to broaden our impact on the global renewable energy sector. By integrating advanced technologies into our manufacturing processes and expanding R&D activities, we are determined to stay at the forefront of product innovation. This growth will not only reinforce our position as a global leader in the solar PV industry but also create significant opportunities for employment and development, contributing meaningfully to the local and global economy
