Inox Wind Completes a 990 MW Turnkey Project for Purvah Green

Inox Wind Ltd, a leading provider of wind energy solutions, announced on Monday that the execution of a 990 MW turnkey order—part of the 1,500 MW framework agreements signed earlier—is progressing steadily across multiple sites in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Madhya Pradesh. The company has received all advance payments for these projects, with commissioning slated to begin in phases from FY26 onwards, according to a company statement. The company has entered into a 1,500 MW framework agreement with Purvah Green Private Ltd, a subsidiary of CESC Ltd.

“We are pleased to share that we are now undertaking the full execution of the 990 MW turnkey projects for Purvah, spanning multiple locations. The commissioning of the project will begin in a phased manner starting in FY26. This order marks a significant milestone for Inox Wind, and we are honoured to partner with such a prestigious client. We are confident that this will pave the way for a deeper and long-lasting relationship," said Kailash Tarachandani, Group CEO of Inox Wind.

This order from Purvah Green Pvt. Ltd. represents the largest single wind energy contract ever awarded by an independent power producer in India to any wind turbine original equipment manufacturer, the statement added. "We are highly satisfied with the progress we've made on this project. Our partnership with Inox Wind will serve as a key driver in our efforts to significantly expand our renewable portfolio in the coming years. This project is of great importance to us and will play a crucial role in advancing our green ambitions," said Sandeep Kashyap, CEO of Renewables Business at RPSG Group.
