ACME Group has set an ambitious target to generate ?10,000 crore in the revenue by 2030 from its solar module and cell manufacturing division, the company said on Sunday. Having recently launched a 1.2 GW solar module manufacturing facility in Rajasthan, ACME Group plans to further expand this capacity in the years ahead.
The group plans to significantly expand its manufacturing capacity and establish a dedicated cell manufacturing facility under its newly formed business entity, ACME Renewable Equipment Manufacturing, the company stated in a statement. The group also owns Acme Solar Holdings, a key entity that operates the renewable energy development and generation business, driving growth in sustainable energy solutions.
After being added to the approved list of models and manufacturers, ACME will actively participate in supply agreements for solar modules across various government projects, schemes, and tenders managed by renewable energy implementing agencies. This includes rooftop solar installations, KUSUM schemes, and export opportunities.
