Adani Green Launches New Subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Sixty Eight Limited, to Focus on Renewable Energy Generation

On December 28, Adani Green Energy Limited (AGEL) announced the formation of a new wholly-owned subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Sixty Eight Limited (AGE68L). As per a filing with the exchanges on the same day, AGE68L has been incorporated in India and will focus on operations within the renewable energy sector.

The filing stated, "Adani Renewable Energy Holding Nine Limited, a fully owned subsidiary of the Company, established a wholly owned subsidiary called Adani Green Energy Sixty Eight Limited (AGE68L) on December 28, 2024."

The key goal of AGE68L is to generate, develop, convert, distribute, transmit, sell, and supply electricity or electrical energy in any form, utilising wind energy, solar energy, or other renewable energy sources. The company's authorised capital and paid-up capital are both set at Rs 1,00,000.

Adani Renewable Energy Holding Nine Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company, holds 100% of the share capital of AGE68L. AGE68L, incorporated in India and registered with the Registrar of Companies in Gujarat, Ahmedabad, has not yet commenced its commercial operations, according to the filing.
