JSW Energy said today that it has secured several renewable energy projects in the commercial and industrial (C&I) power sector, with a total committed generation capacity of 20 GW. The company's total secured renewable energy capacity for C&I use is 3.1 GW, which includes 2,654 MW from JSW Group's captive capacity and 445 MW from third-party C&I capacity, according to a statement by JSW Energy.
The company has stated that its current operational Commercial & Industrial (C&I) capacity stands at 488 MW. Additionally, its subsidiaries have signed power purchase agreements (PPAs) with DCM Shriram Limited and Indus Towers Limited for the provision of renewable energy.
These strategic partnerships underscore the company's commitment towards sustainable energy solutions. Subsequent to this, the company's total locked-in generation capacity has increased to 20 GW.
