17 Dec 2024

Adani Green stated that the primary objective of the subsidiary is to generate, develop, transform, distribute, transmit, sell, and supply electricity or electrical energy from wind, solar, or other renewable energy sources.

The subsidiary has recently been incorporated and registered with the Registrar of Companies in Ahmedabad. It has an authorised and paid-up share capital of Rs 1 lakh, and its turnover is currently zero, as business operations have not yet commenced.

Earlier this week, Adani Renewable Energy Holdings Nine incorporated three wholly owned subsidiaries: Adani Green Energy Sixty Five Limited, Adani Green Energy Sixty Six Limited, and Adani Green Energy Sixty Seven Limited. The subsidiaries will generate, develop, convert, distribute, transmit, sell, and supply electricity or electrical energy from wind, solar, and other renewable energy sources.

The decision followed the approval of a 250 MW solar power project at Badi Sid in Rajasthan's Jodhpur district by Adani Green's subsidiary, Adani Green Energy Twenty Five Ltd.

The share price of Adani Green Energy closed 1.56% lower at Rs 1,217.95 per share in the past week, in contrast to a 1% gain in the BSE Sensex, and has declined 16.8% over the past 12 months. According to the report, the average 12-month analysts' consensus price targets indicate a potential upside of 61.4%.
