Jakson Green's Division Dispatches First Electrolyser for India's Largest Urban Mobility Refuelling Station

25 Nov 2024

Jackson Green Infinity, the green hydrogen electrolyser division of Jackson Green, said today that it has dispatched the first batch of 3.8 MW electrolysers. These electrolysers will be installed to support India's first green hydrogen refuelling station for urban mobility in the National Capital Region, as stated in the official press release.

The electrolyser technology, produced at the Greater Noida plant, will be crucial in generating clean hydrogen fuel for vehicles and a range of other environmentally-friendly applications. The imported electrolyser stack was combined with the balance of plant components, which were indigenously designed, engineered, and manufactured at the Greater Noida facility.

Kannan Krishnan, MD and CEO, Jackson Green, said, "This project reinforces hydrogen's important role as a new energy transition fuel, reducing India's dependence on imported crude oil and reducing pollution. It differentiates us as a prominent player in electrolyser manufacturing, and we are committed to building the infrastructure that promotes hydrogen-fuelled vehicles."
