PM Launches 4th Global Renewable Energy Investors’ Meet and Expo (RE-INVEST) in Gujarat

Prime Minister Narendra Modi officially launched the 4th Global Renewable Energy Investor’s Meet and Expo (RE-INVEST) at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.This three-day summit celebrates the key contributors to India’s impressive milestone of over 200 GW of installed non-fossil fuel capacity. During the event, Modi also explored the exhibition, featuring ground-breaking innovations from public and private sector companies, start-ups, and leading industry players.

In his address to the gathering, the Prime Minister warmly welcomed all the dignitaries to the 4th edition of the RE-INVEST Summit, expressing optimism about the meaningful discussions that would unfold over the next three days regarding the future of energy, technology, and policy. He stated that the insights gained from this conference would benefit all of humanity and conveyed his heartfelt wishes for fruitful deliberations.

The Prime Minister emphasized the people's mandate for a historic third consecutive term, a feat not seen in sixty years. “Modi stated, "The government’s re-election for a third consecutive term is a result of the aspirations of the Indian people.,” Modi remarked. He pointed out the trust and confidence of 1.4 billion citizens, particularly the youth and women, who believe their dreams, will soar in this new term.

He stressed that marginalized communities, including the poor, dalits, and the deprived view this third term as a promise of a dignified life. The Prime Minister asserted that the collective determination of 1.4 billion Indians aims to position India as the world’s third-largest economy. He noted that today’s event is part of a larger vision and action plan to transform India into a developed nation by 2047, highlighting the significant decisions made by the government in its first 100 days.

PM Modi highlighted that "the actions taken by the government in the first 100 days demonstrate its priorities and underscore the immediate and extensive efforts required for India's swift development across all key sectors."

In the past 100 days, the Prime Minister highlighted several key initiatives aimed at enhancing the nation's physical and social infrastructure. He noted that India is set to build 7 crore homes—surpassing the population of many countries—while 4 crore homes have already been allocated over the last two terms. Additionally, he announced plans for 12 new industrial cities, approval of 8 high-speed road corridor projects, the launch of over 15 semi-high-speed Vande Bharat trains, and the establishment of an Rs 1 trillion research fund to foster innovation. He also outlined various initiatives to advance e-mobility, boost high-performance bio-manufacturing, and approve the Bio E3 policy.
