The Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (JREDA) has issued an EPC tender for the development of a 9 MW grid-connected ground-mounted solar PV plant in Palamu District, Jharkhand. The estimated cost of the project is approximately INR 92.97 crores, including GST, with a completion deadline of 12 months.
Bidders must submit their proposals by September 23, 2024, by 5:00 PM. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 6, 2024, and technical bids will be opened on September 25, 2024, at 3:00 PM.
Interested parties are required to pay a non-refundable tender fee of INR 11,800 online through the SBI Payment Gateway of Jharkhand Tenders. Additionally, a refundable Earnest Money Deposit (EMD) of INR 1,86,00,000 must be submitted online.
Successful bidders will be required to provide a contract security deposit of 10% of the total contract value within 30 days of receiving the Letter of Intent (LOI)/Letter of Award (LOA). They will also need to submit a 5% Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Performance Security deposit.
The project scope includes the design, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and comprehensive operation and maintenance of a 9 MW (AC) grid-connected ground-mounted solar PV power plant on government land in Palamu District for 25 years.
Technical Eligibility: Bidders must have experience in designing, supplying, installing, and commissioning at least one grid-connected ground-mounted or floating solar PV power plant with a capacity of 7.5 MW or more at a single location in the past seven years. For two such plants, the individual capacity should be at least 4.5 MW, and for three plants, at least 3.5 MW.
Financial Eligibility: Bidders should have an average annual financial turnover of at least INR 27,89,10,000 over the last three years, ending March 31 of the previous financial year. They must also demonstrate a positive net worth as of March 31, 2023.
