Envision bags an order to supply 116 MW of wind turbines from Blueleaf Energy

Envision Wind Power Technologies India has secured a 116-MW wind turbine supply order from Blueleaf Energy. Envision Wind Power Technologies India Private Ltd. has entered into a turbine supply agreement for EN-156 3.3 MW turbines with Blueleaf Energy, a prominent pan-Asian renewable energy platform owned by a Macquarie Asset Management managed fund, according to a statement.

As per the statement, Blueleaf Energy intends to begin construction of a co-located wind-solar hybrid power project in Madhya Pradesh by the year 2024. The completion of the construction is anticipated in the year 2025.

Amiram Roth-Deblon, Chief Operating Officer of Blueleaf Energy, stated in the statement, "We anticipate a fruitful collaboration and project execution with Envision for our Pachora Hybrid Power Project, as we strive to achieve our objective of deploying over 5 GW of renewable energy capacity in India by 2030."

R P V Prasad, the Chief Executive Officer of Envision Wind Power Technologies India, stated, "In keeping with our commitment to the Atmanirbhar Bharat vision, we will be assembling the nacelle and hubs at our Pune factory, sourcing blades from our own or vendor's factory in India, and procuring towers and their components from reputable manufacturers in Maharashtra and Gujarat."

With an investment of approximately Rs 500 crore, India has emerged as a strategic market for Envision and has resulted in the creation of over 2,000 employment opportunities, both direct and indirect. Envision has successfully implemented over 1,550 MW of wind power projects and secured projects of 7.7 GW from 21 independent power producers.
