Electrotherm Solar ltd. are strongly catering to sectors like Steel and  Foundry, Textile, Cold Storages, Chemical & Pharma, Food, Hospitality and process industries. This year we are looking at providing Solar Solutions almost four times than last financial year. Our vision is in line with the vision of usage of Renewable Energy in India and we see a robust growth in Solar for next couple of decades. 

 
Q. Nowadays costs of fossil fuels are rising, reserves are fast depleting and the environment is at risk, how sun helps for an ideal solution for your customers?
 
If you see the global reserves of various conventional & fossil fuels vis-à-vis energy radiates by The Sun, solar energy can very easily cater to the the entire energy requirement of the globe. However, challenges are the availability of space at the user point and energy storage for non-sunny hours. I am very sure, with the advance of technology, we will soon overcome these challenges too. In fact, one of our client in Kolhapur is able to get almost 80% of their energy requirement from The Sun to run their Steel Rolling Mill  
 
Q. How much do you think Electrotherm Solar Ltd. is growing till now?
 
All the verticles including Solar Business in Electrotherm Group is growing multifold. In fact, this year, we are looking at providing Solar Solutions almost four times than last financial year. Our vision is in line with the vision of usage of Renewable Energy in India and we see a robust growth in Solar for next couple of decades.
 
Q. How Electrotherm Solar Ltd. serves in variety of markets?
 
Electrotherm Solar is very strongly catering to client needs in Industrial and commercial segments across India. We are strongly catering to sectors like Steel & Foundry, Textile, Cold Storages, Chemical & Pharma, Food, Hospitality and process industries.
 
Q. What do you think how faster you accept new technologies, is new technology affects your running business?
 
We welcome any new technology which enhances the performance output of the system and ease of operation & monitoring, without any hesitation. We have a robust internal process to evaluate & validate the effect of new technology in site trials & implement it immediately. The whole exercise revolves around the fact, how much our customers get benefit out of the new technology
 
Q. Tell us something about your products reach and how they different from each other?
 
Electrotherm is having 8 regional offices in India other than the Head Office in Ahmedabad. Our resident engineers are covering another almost 20 cities. Along-with this network, we also have a strong network of Channel Partners to reach to clients with our solutions in any part of India. We are not in the “Me Too” business model. Our philosophy is to offer the best suited solution to our clients to optimize his “value For Money”. We have many live examples, where our offered solutions are giving much better output than any of our competitors. Along-with this, we have a very strong after sales service network to support customer across the lifecycle of the supplied solution. Our centralized ‘Performance Monitoring Cell’ keep an eye on the output of the system & guide client as well our engineer on preventive cleaning & maintenance of the system. 
 
Q. Electrotherm Solar Ltd. is globally present in more than 50 countries in Middle East, Africa, SAARC and Europe which is the next country you are thinking to establish your business?
 
Our Engineering & Project group and Furnace Division of Electrotherm is catering to 50 plus countries across the globe. Electrotherm Solar is currently not doing business overseas, however, we are having a plan to enter Middle East, South East Asia and Africa market in next Financial Year. We have already taken various initiatives in support of this plan.
 
Q. What are your next big projects and what are your future plans?

 

We have big plan with our brand ‘eleCtra’ & these will be unfolded one by one in coming days. We are confident of clocking four digit turnover figure soon.
